Day 01 : Mumbai
Arrive Mumbai. On arrival transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 02 : Mumbai
After breakfast cruise across Mumbai harbour to Elephanta Island and visit the huge rock cut caves there. Afternoon visit Gateway of India, Princes of Wales Museum, Hanging Garden, Tower of Silence, Dhobi Garh and Mani Bhawan. Overnight at hotel.

Day 03 : Mumbai - Ahmedabad
Morning connect flight for Ahmedabad. On arrival transfer to hotel. Afternoon visit the noted Calico Museum (closed on Wednesdays & holidays). Overnight at hotel.
Day 04 : Ahmedabad
After breakfast visit Modhera and Patan. The Surya Temple at Modhera was built in 1026 AD and is dedicated to the Sun God. Patan is the old capital of Gujarat and home of the famous Patola silk weavers and is also noted for the Rani Vav step well. Overnight at hotel.

Day 05 : Ahmedabad - Rajkot
After early breakfast drive to Rajkot (approx 216 Kms. 5 Hrs. drive). Rajkot literally means the City of the kings, the Rajas. It was founded in the year of 1610 by Vibhaji Jadeja and Raju Sandhi. On arrival transfer to hotel. Afternoon sightseeing tour to the city includes Kaba Gandhi No Delo - This is the place where Gandhi and his family stayed during his father's tenure as a Minister to the King in Rajkot. The Watson museum - It houses some of the rare portraits and photographs of royal princes of Saurashtra and European dignitaries, 13th-century carvings, temple statues, natural history exhibits, and dioramas of local tribal costumes and housing styles. The Jagat Mandir - beautiful red stone carved temple dedicated to the great saint of modern times, Ramakrishna Paramhans. Overnight at hotel.

Day 06 : Rajkot - Jamnagar
After breakfast drive to Jamnagar (approx 90 Kms. 2 hrs. drive). On arrival transfer to hotel. Later visit Lakhota Fort and Kotha Bastion - Lakhota Fort is Jamnagar's Museum and its terraces display a fine collection of sculpture that spans a period from the 9th to 18th Century. The Kotha Bastion is Jamnagar's arsenal. One of its most interesting sights is an old 'well, the water of which can be drawn by blowing into a small hole in the floor. Mandvi Tower, The Darbar Gadh - a semi circular place, where he kings would hold their public meetings. Today it has become a huge shopping area for the locals. Bala Hanuman Temple, Jain Temples. Overnight at hotel.

Day 07 : Jamnagar - Dwarka - Jamnagar
Morning excursion to Dwarka - Situated on the extreme western tip of Kathiawad, Dwarka has remained a one of the principal cities for the Hindu devotees. The mythological city is supposed to be the 6th developed city, the earlier five are supposed to be submerged in the ocean. Dwarka is one of the four most holy Hindu pilgrimage sites in India and is closely related to the Krishna legend. The Jagat Mandir: The main temple dedicated to Lord Krishna is supposed to be built nearly 2,500 years ago around the 16th century, the walls to about 12th century. Sixty columns support the roof of the audience hall of the Jagat Mandir. The main temple is five-story high with the lavishly carved conical spire rising to a height of 157 feet. Another important temple in Dwarka is the temple dedicated to Rukmini, Lord Krishna's wife, who is considered an incarnation of Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth and beauty. Sharad Peeth - Research work in Sanskrit is carried on here. Overnight at Jamnagar.

Day 08 : Jamnagar - Porbandar
After breakfast drive to Porbandar (approx 170 Kms. 3 ½ hrs. drive). Porbandar : The actual birth town of Mahatma Gandhi (The Father of The Nation.), the small town is a beautiful seaport on the Arabian Sea. On arrival transfer to hotel. Later sightseeing tour includes Kirti Mandir - the birth place of Gandhi, Sudama Temple - Lord Krishna's friend's Temple. Also visit Tara Mandir (Planaterium) - All heavenly bodies like stars and planets are projected scientifically by special effect movies on an overhead round screen in a theatre and explained elaborately to the joy of the viewers. Bharat Mandir, Chowapaty - Porbandar’s coastal line is just half a kilometre away from the city, is one of the main attraction place to visit and enjoy the beautiful scenery throughout the year. Day 09 : Porbandar - Somnath - Junagadh
The temple of Somnath, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. According to the legend, Somnath is as old as creation, built by none other than the Moon God himself. The remains of the temple of Somanath "withstood the shocks of time and survived the attacks of destroyers. The temple has imposing architecture and is a beautiful sight facing the blue expanse of the Arabian Sea. A short distance from the Somnath temple is Bakhla Tirth, where Lord Krishna was said to have been struck by the stray arrow of a Bhil tribal. The Present Temple, Kailash Mahameru Prasada is built in the chalukya style of temple architecture. Later drive to Junagadh (approx 79 Kms. 1 ½ hrs. drive). On arrival transfer to hotel. Evening is free for leisure. Overnight at hotel. 

Day 10 : Junagadh - Gondal
After breakfast visit Uparkot Fort - the Uparkot or Upper Fort is girdled by a wall that is, in some places, over 20m high. An ornate entrance gateway leads to the ruins. A mosque still stands in a state of preservation. Other than the magnificent fort, the premises hold other sites to be visited like the two step wells, Jama Masjid and Buddhist caves. It's said the fort was besieged for a full 12 years. In all, it was besieged 16 times. It is also said that the fort was abandoned from the 7th to10th centuries and, when rediscovered, it was completely over grown by jungle. Darbar Hall Museum - The place where the Nawabs of Junagadh held a public audience, which has been turned into a museum, Mohhabat Khan s Maqbara. Later drive to Girnar hill - The famous mythological hill, supposed to be an extinct volcano, at foot of which the whole town was established is respectable for Hindus and Jains equally. On the way to Girnar, visit Ashok's Rock Edicts. In the evening drive to Gondal (approx 75 Kms. 1 ½ hrs. drive). Overnight at hotel. 

Day 11 : Gondal - Bhavnagar
After breakfast visit Dhoraji and Jetpur. At Dhoraji view the Dabarghadh (old palace) an architectural masterpiece with fine sandstone carvings. Jetpur is a textile town known for its woodblock and screen printing. Afternoon Drive to Bhavangar (230 kms / 4 hrs), a flourishing port on the Gulf of Khambhat and a good base from which to visit Palitana. Overnight at hotel.

Day 12 : Bhavnagar -Palitana -Uthelia

After early breakfast visit Palitana (70 kms /1 ½ hrs) where over a period of 900 years, 863 Jain Temples have been constructed on five sacred hills -if you wish to climb Palitana you should allow at least 4 hours to climb to the top. Later drive to Palace Uthelia (150 kms / 3 hrs), a small comfortable heritage guesthouse, in the heart of the village. 

Day 13 : Uthelia
Morning at leisure. Explore Uthelia an agricultural village, noted for its traditional houses. Other places of interest include nearby Lothal to see the major archaeological site dating back to the Harrappan era 2400 -1500 BC and the Gundi Ashram 

Day 14 : Uthelia -Ahmedabad - Delhi
Morning drive to Ahmedabad (80 kms /1 ½ hrs). On arrival transfer to Airport to connect flight for Delhi. On arrival at Delhi transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel. 

Day 15 : Delhi - Onward Destination
After breakfast sight-seeing tour, which includes Jama Masjid -the largest mosque of Emperor Shahjahan. Later proceed to India Gate -a 42 meter stone arch built in the memory of the Indian Soldiers who died in World War II, drive past to the President's House, Humayun's Tomb (a memorial of the Mughals, its design is inspired by the Taj Mahal), the Qutab Minar and Lotus Temple. 
Later in the evening transfer to Airport to connect flight for onward destination

Day 04 : Udaipur - Ranakpur - Jodhpur (259 kms / 6 hrs drive)
After breakfast depart for Jodhpur, en-route visit 15-16th centuary Ranakpur Jain temples. On arrival transfer to hotel. Evening visit the Balsam and lake. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 05 : Jodhpur - Jaipur
After breakfast take a half day sightseeing tour of Jodhpur, visiting the Mehrangarh fort, Jaswant Thada, Maha Mandir temple and Umaid Bhawan Palace. In the evening transfer to airport to connect flight for Jaipur. On arrival at Jaipur transfer to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 06 : Jaipur
Morning elephant / Jeep ride to the ramparts of Amber Fort. Afternoon take a sightseeing tour of Jaipur visiting the Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar, City Palace, Ganeshji temple and Sisodia gardens. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 07 : Jaipur - Agra (232 kms / 5 hrs)
Drive to Agra en-route visiting Fatehpur Sikhri the Old Mughal capital still preserved n excellent shape. Afternoon visit Taj Mahal, an extravagant marble monument of love built by Shahjahan in 1653 as a memorial for his Queen Mumtaz Mahal. Check into hotel for overnight stay.
Day 08 : Agra - Delhi (202 kms / 4 hrs)
After early breakfast visit Agra Fort - a red sandstone fort built by Akber in 1565 and Itamud-ud-Daula. Later drive to Delhi en-route visit to Sikandra: The worthy monument here is the tomb of Akbar which shows an interesting fusion of Hindu & Muslim art and architecture reflecting the spirit of the emperor himself. On arrival transfer to Railway station to connect train to Amritsar by Amritsar Shtbadi Express Train No. 2013 Dep. Delhi at 1630 hrs, Arr. Amritsar at 2215 hrs. On arrival at Amritsar transfer to hotel.
Day 09 : Amritsar - Tarn Taran - Gobindwal - Hazoor Sahib - Amritsar
After breakfast excursion to Tarn Taran (22 kms / 45 minutes), famous for a gurudwara standing on the side of a large tank and built in honour of Guru Arjun Dev. Proceed to Gobindwal (23 kms /30 minutes), a short run from Tarn Taran connected to the memory of Guru Amardas who lived there. A gurudwara built by the Guruji still stands there. Continue onto Hazoor Sahib (10 kms / 15 minutes), where the Samadhi (memorial) of the second Sikh guru, Guru Angad Dev ji, was built by Maharaja Ranjit Singh in 1815. Return to Amritsar. Afternoon visit the Golden Temple - built in the midst of the holy pool by Maharaja Ranjit Singh in 1803. It is also known as Darbar Sahib or Har Mandir Sahib. The dome of the temple is covered with an estimated 400 kgs of gold leaf, hence its popular name the 'Golden Temple'. Overnight at hotel.

Day 07 : Wayanad / Calicut
